BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – City leaders in East Baton Rouge want to see how local entrepreneurs and their companies are faring with a survey that businesses and organizations of any sector or size are encouraged to complete.

Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome is helming the initiative. She says her goal in creating the survey is to get, “an in-depth understanding of how businesses and organizations within our community experience our procurement policies, processes, communications, and systems.”

After collecting the survey results, Broome says she and her team will, “build upon the work we started in 2018 to reduce procurement disparities, improve efficiencies, and embed inclusivity and equity into the fabric of our operations to better serve the residents of East Baton Rouge Parish.”

The survey will close Friday, May 19.
