This comes as parents face the tough choice on whether or not to enroll their children in school full-time or take the route of distance learning because of the coronavirus.
According to New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell, there is a digital divide in New Orleans, with many families not having access to computers or internet.
Cantrell said the donated laptops from Jordan will help bridge the digital gap in the city.
