The event took place at Quarters which is located at 4530 S. Sherwood Forest Blvd.

Santa gave wrapped gifts to children 10 and under, as well as gift cards to children ages 11-18.

Since a cancer diagnosis can take a toll on a family, especially during the holiday season, the goal of the event was to support children affected by cancer and to provide an opportunity to bond, according to Alec Bordelon.
