Cannabis and Hemp are on the docket at the Southern University Law Center

If you are interested in learning more about cannibas and hemp, stop by the Southern University Law Center on Thursday before 5 p.m.

The Southern University Law Center’s Cannabis Compliance, Law, and Policy Institute and the Southern University Ag Center is having panel sessions on these subjects today.

The event started at 8 a.m. and these individuals are scheduled to appear:

  • Rep. Edward James
  • Rep. Clay Schexnayder
  • State Cannabis and Hemp Professionals
  • Legal Professionals
  • Local businesses
  • Community Leaders

Southern University said, “this event will educate and inform the community about the evolving cannabis and hemp industry.”

The Cannabis and Hemp Education Symposium is happening on Thursday and Friday.

According to Southern University, “panel sessions will include legality, formation of businesses, ancillary careers, cultivation differences, and more.”

The Southern University Law Center is located at 2 Roosevelt Steptoe Dr.
