BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – Capital Area Human Services is almost fully up and running again a little over a week after Hurricane Ida damaged parts of the state.

Capital Area Human Services serves seven parishes and at this time only the Donaldsonville location is closed.

These are the parishes that Capital Area Human Services serves:

  • Ascension
  • East Baton Rouge
  • West Baton Rouge
  • East Feliciana
  • West Feliciana
  • Iberville
  • Point Coupee

Capital Area Human Services “provides mental health, addiction recovery and developmental disability services.”

With offices and clinics back open, anyone can schedule in-person or teletherapy appointments at CAHS or by calling 225-925-1906.
