BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – October 31 is just about here, but that is not stopping locals from celebrating Halloween early.

On Thursday, October 28, there are two Halloween themed events taking place in Baton Rouge.

The first is in District 10 and it will go from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m.

District 10 Trunk or Treat is going to give some the opportunity to safely take part in Halloween.

For those that are interested, bring your vehicle to Kerr Warren Park at 4100 Geronimo St. for the drive-thru event.

District 10 Councilwoman Carolyn R. Coleman along with staff from the Dr. Leo S. Community Center are expected to attend the District 10 Trunk or Treat event.

The second event on Thursday is happening in District 7.

Come out and trick or treat at the MLK Community Center.

From 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., anyone who stops by can expect “vendors, family and fun.”

You are encouraged to dress up for the occasion by wearing your best Halloween costume.
