BATON ROUGE, La. (WVLA/WGMB) — Celebrate National Bacon Day on Dec. 30, or like a lot of people, celebrate the popular food everyday.
We asked Yelp about the best bacon restaurants in Baton Rouge. The crowd-sourced review forum listed some of the top restaurants across the Capital City. All restaurants listed below have at least 100 reviews and a minimum ranking of four out of five stars.
Curbside Burgers, 4158 Government Street, has a bacon cheeseburger. Kathryn L. recommends pairing the specialty with a boozy milkshake.
Batch 13 Biscuits & Bowls, 4957 Essen Lane, is a breakfast and brunch place that closes at 2 p.m. The All-American Breakfast is served with hash and grits. Kaleb H. said, “it’s fantastic!”
Frankie’s Dawg House, 2318 Cedardale Ave., offers a variety of special bacon-themed sandwiches. Restaurant goers can choose from the Bacon Lovers Dawg, Zen Burger, Morning Dawg, Chuck Norris, Situation Dawg or Southern Chick.
City Pork Brasserie & Bar, 7327 Jefferson Hwy, offers duck bacon with their charcuterie selection. Six of the eight salad options offer bacon while sandwich options abound with the BLT, City Club and Pork Belly Hoagie.
