BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – Holiday Lights at Baton Rouge General with an all-new “Snow & Glow” event that will transform the grounds into a winter wonderland.
As many of you know, the holiday lights are “a light display on BRG’s campus at the corner of Bluebonnet Boulevard and Picardy Avenue.”
The free light display will remain open to the public until December 31.
“Celebrating the Christmas season with our Holiday Lights display gives a much-needed boost to our entire community, especially our patients and our team members, during this challenging year,” said BRG CEO Edgardo Tenreiro. “Driving by or strolling through, it’s our way to spread a little holiday cheer.”
That is not all that BRG has up its sleeve this holiday season. The hospital is also offering what they call “a new family-friendly, ticketed event called ‘Snow & Glow.’”
While the light display is free to everyone, “Snow & Glow” costs $5 per adult. BRG says, “admission for the rest of the family” is free.
“Snow & Glow” will happen on two dates, December 2 and December 16.
The new event will feature “strolling holiday characters, glow-in-the-dark performers, real snow, pictures with Santa, music, and more,” according to Baton Rouge General.
