City of Baker to host first annual Mardi Gras Parade

The City of Baker is set to host its first ever Mardi Gras Parade on Saturday, Feb. 15, starting at 10 a.m.

The Grand Marshal will be Baker’s own Councilwoman Glenda Bryant. The Parade is sponsored by Advantage Charter Academy. According to a recent press release, the parade route will start on Main St. and go to Groom Rd. The parade will end in the parking lot of Advantage Charter Academy located at 14740 Plank Rd. Free food and vendors will be on site at Advantage Charter Academy after the parade.
