BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – Civil Rights Attorney Ben Crump held a news conference on Monday morning at the NAACP Louisiana State Conference.

NAACP Baton Rouge President, Eugene Collins and a whistleblower named LaToyia Porter joined Crump at 9 a.m. to speak about a lawsuit against the Louisiana Department of Children and Family Services.

The lawsuit against DCFS will be “on behalf of his client, who was a minor during the years of alleged sexual abuse that she and her younger sister endured while under DCF’s care,” according to Ben Crump Law.

Ben Crump Law alleges that the sexual abuse was perpetrated by ‘wealthy white men, including accused rapist John Mack.’
