METAIRIE, LA (WGNO) – On Thursday morning, reports came in of a capsized boat in Lake Pontchartrain.

The Coast Guard began the search near Bonnabel Boat Launch, with assistance from the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Our reporter on the scene says a baseball cap has been retrieved from the water near the scene.
