NEW ORLEANS, La. (WGNO) – On Thursday morning, the Coast Guard announced they are searching for a person in Lake Barre.
The Coast Guard was notified around 9 p.m. on Wednesday, June 17 that a 36-year-old man had jumped off of a boat.
The man reportedly jumped into the water off of a commercial fishing vessel named Miss Sue.
These organizations are involved in the search for the missing person:
- Coast Guard Station Grand Isle 24-foot Rescue Boat-Small boat crew
- Coast Guard Air Station New Orleans MH-65 Dolphin Helicopter aircrew
- Coast Guard Aviation Training Center Mobile HC-144 Ocean Sentry aircrew
- Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries
