Coroner releases autopsy results for man involved in shootout with police


East Baton Rouge Parish Coroner William “Beau” Clark, M.D. conducted an autopsy on 52-year old Keith Carter.

Carter was involved in a shootout with police on Tuesday.

The autopsy was performed on August 28 and Clark said, “the preliminary results were as follows: Mr. Carter’s manner of death is homicide.”

EBR Parish Coroner Clark stated that Carter died from “multiple gunshot wounds to the torso and extremities.”
