BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – Capital area parents who deal with financial insecurity are invited to pick up a free car seat for their babies and toddlers this weekend.

East Baton Rouge Metro Councilman Cleve Dunn, Jr., District 6 is set to host a giveaway at his council’s office (9048 Airline Highway, Suite 6) beginning at 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 20.

Interested parents are asked to preregister for the giveaway, and only individuals who receive assistance from WIC and/or SNAP will be eligible to receive a car seat.
