PHOENIX- Their love is as big as Costco’s mac and cheese boxes.
Too cheesy? Okay, I’ll stop.
A now-married couple in Hawaii met at the Waipahu Costco in the mac and cheese aisle.
According to a Facebook post from Costco, Jessica (the bride) was walking around with her roommate when she stopped to record an Instagram video of the mac and cheese she spotted.
“I was saying how I wish it was good for you!” Jessica said in a Facebook post.
Brandon (the groom) caught a glimpse of Jessica’s debate and said, “It’s good for you. It’s cheese- and it’s Costco.”
A month after the couple got married, they wanted to capture the place where it all started.
“We didn’t really think we were going to do, and we did it,” Jessica shared on the post. “By the time we got to the aisle, there were different employees walking by congratulating us. Customers were shopping and laughing, taking pictures. Everyone was super-nice.”
The mac-and-cheese-loving couple now spends their “Sunday Funday” grocery shopping at Costco.
“Sometimes you leave Costco with mac and cheese,” Jessica posted on Facebook. “Sometimes you leave with a husband. For me, I was lucky enough to get both.”
