COVID-19 testing site with 24-hour results comes to Baton Rouge

Baton Rouge, La. (BRPROUD) – It’s common for people to receive their COVID-19 results days or even weeks after taking a test, but one Baton Rouge site opened Monday to help people avoid the waiting.

24 Hour Covid RT-PCR Laboratory partnered to with Rapid Response Physicians, PLLC, to provide Baton Rouge residents their test results within 24 of testing. Those receiving a test won’t have to pay any out-of-pocket fees for the expedited testing.

The location will be open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 9550 Airline Highway.

Testing is available for anyone experiencing COVID-19 symptoms or anyone exposed to a person who tested positive for the virus. Workers at the site won’t turn anyone away, according to 24 Hour Covid RT-PCR Laboratory spokesperson Randy Butler.
