BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – The Baton Rouge Police Department arrested a teenager for his alleged involvement in a deadly shooting on Scenic Highway last month.

The police were called to the 7800 block of Scenic Highway on Jan. 20 and found the body of Geore Hankton, 20. Police said another victim, an unnamed 18-year-old, was found seriously injured.

According to the police, Landon Johnson, 18, was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison. He was charged with first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder and illegal use of weapons.
