DENHAM SPRINGS, La. (BRPROUD) — An armed robbery suspect is accused of pointing a gun at an AT&T store employee before leaving with “tens of thousands of dollars” worth of cell phones.
The Denham Springs Police Department said the crime happened at an AT&T store on South Range Avenue near Aspen Square Drive at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 18. Police said the suspect walked into the store with a rolling suitcase before ordering an employee to fill the suitcase at gunpoint.
Investigators said the suspect left out of the back of the store and got into an unknown vehicle. Surveillance footage caught the suspect walking behind Williamson Eye Center before the robbery, according to DSPD.
