AMELIA, La. (BRPROUD) – A traffic stop on Tuesday, May 16 ended with the arrest of Duston Paul Jones Fell, 43, of Ville Platte.
According to the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office, a deputy saw the vehicle driven by Fell commit a traffic violation around 12:50 a.m. on U.S. 90. The deputy conducted an interview with Fell, which led to a search of the vehicle.
APSO said that the search uncovered two vials of anabolic steroids along with methamphetamine.
Fell was taken into custody and charged with:
- possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine
- possession of steroids (2 counts)
- failure to drive on the right side of the road
- suspended driver’s license
The Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office confirmed that Fell is on felony probation in Evangeline Parish. He remains in the Assumption Parish Detention Center, and no bond has been set.
