BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – One man was taken to a local hospital after a shooting around 9:30 a.m. in the 100 block of Marilyn Drive, according to EMS.

The Baton Rouge Police Department responded to the scene and determined that this was a domestic incident. BRPD said a man was shot by another man and the suspect is at large.

This is the third reported shooting in Baton Rouge over the last eight hours. A little after 1 a.m. on Thursday, a fight led to a man being shot outside of Romeo’s Old School Bar & Lounge.

A second reported shooting took place around 7:30 a.m. on Lorraine Street.
