BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – The Baton Rouge Police Department made another arrest in connection with a deadly shooting that took place on I-12.
Police said Loren Neyland, 30, was apprehended and charged with first-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder. Neyland remains behind bars in the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison and no bond has been set.
Avery Hall, 24, was the first person taken into custody and charged in connection with the shooting death of Toby Taylor, 28, on October 8, 2022. Hall was arrested on Wednesday, Feb. 22. He was charged with first-degree murder, possession with intent to distribute Schedule 1, resisting an officer, obstruction of justice and possession of firearm with a controlled dangerous substance.
