LIVINGSTON PARISH, La. (BRPROUD) — After a monthslong investigation into illegal drug distribution in Livingston Parish, authorities have made multiple arrests.
Narcotics agents with the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office got several tips about the distribution of meth at houses on Yucan Drive in Denham Springs and River Bend in Maurepas.
The agents followed up by launching an investigation that lasted for at least three months.
As of Wednesday, authorities say they’ve made seven arrests. According to LPSO, the individuals in custody include:
- Alan Wooley, 55: possession with intent to distribute Schedule I Controlled Dangerous Substance, 2 counts of possession with intent to distribute Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, obstruction of justice/evidence tampering
- Stephanie Warren, 36: possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of Schedule I drugs, possession with intent to distribute Schedule I Controlled Dangerous Substance, possession with intent to distribute Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance, possession of Schedule III drugs, possession of a firearm with drugs, felon in possession of a firearm
- Matthew Skelly, 48: he is listed as a fugitive
- Ronald Fairchild, 58: possession with intent to distribute Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance
- Robert Baumy, 54: possession of Schedule II drugs, possession of marijuana under 14 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia, insurance required and driving under suspension
- Dollie Ward, 49: 2 counts of possession with intent to distribute Schedule I Controlled Dangerous Substance, possession with intent to distribute Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and she is listed as a fugitive
- Destiny Wooley, 23: possession with intent to distribute Schedule I Controlled Dangerous Substance, 2 counts of possession with intent to distribute Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance, possession of drug paraphernalia
LPSO said they were brought to the Livingston Parish Detention Center.
During the investigation, LPSO also confiscated the following items:
- Methamphetamine (about 5 pounds, street value: approximately$60,000)
- Fentanyl (about 20 grams; street value: approximately $2,000)
- Marijuana (about 200 grams; street value: approximately $5,000)
- LSD
- Suboxone sublingual strips
- 2 firearms
- Packaging material/drug paraphernalia/scale
- Hydraulic press
- U.S. currency: more than $1,000
Sheriff Jason Ard said, “Thanks to credible tips from our community, LPSO Narcotics Agents were able to track the flow of illegal drugs being sold by certain individuals. It takes communities and law enforcement working together to make a positive difference.”
