ZACHARY, La. (BRPROUD) — A 24-year-old man has been charged with over 10 counts of child pornography, as well as drug charges on Thursday, Dec. 15.

According to the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office, Owen Gardner Randall was charged with 15 counts of pornography involving juveniles, possession with intent to distribute, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The investigation into Randall began when an EBRSO Sergeant and the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation were tasked with reviewing an online tip from Snapchat, a social media platform, that was sent to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC).

The online tips reveal there was a total of 12 images and videos of child pornography linked to Randall’s IP address and Snapchat account.

An affidavit confirms that Randall’s account was searched by agents. Authorities found three iCloud libraries, which held 13 videos of child pornography, 25 images of homegrown marijuana plants at Randall’s residence, and 3 videos of an alleged unconscious adult women being raped. In Randall’s Snapchat account, authorities found images of weapons and four additional images of child pornography. Along with the images, Randall is accused of having a conversation with a female requesting to pay her for a massage and “a good cuddle session.” Randall allegedly sent other users 14 images or videos of child pornography.

Randall was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.
