Deputies nab Louisiana man accused of selling drugs near local school

A man who allegedly sold meth near a Sabine Parish school now sits behind bars.

William K. Cain, 34, of Florien, was arrested Wednesday following an investigation by the Tri-Parish Narcotics Task Force which is comprised of deputies from DeSoto, Red River, and Sabine Parishes.

The investigation started after several complaints were received about drug activity near the school in Florien.

Cain was booked into the Sabine Parish Detention Center for two counts of distribution of methamphetamines and two counts of distribution of methamphetamines in a school zone.  

His bond was set at $28,000.
