Did you know that you could still get up to $3,600 through the Child Tax Credit?

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – Louisiana DCFS is reminding residents that they can still receive up to $3,600 via the Child Tax Credit.

This is the case even though tax season is now over.

DCFS says, “even if you don’t typically file taxes or have recent income, the Child Tax Credit can put money in your family’s hands.”

Louisiana Department of Children & Family Services is providing instructions on how to submit a simplified return.

DCFS says you have until the middle of November to do so and two options are given here.
