Donaldsonville High School gets a new assistant principal

DONALDSONVILLE, La (BRPROUD) Ascension Parish Schools announced the appointment of Dineska McZeal as assistant principal of Donaldsonville High School on Friday, Aug. 20.

“I am truly both grateful and excited about this next chapter of my educational career,” McZeal said. “I am looking forward to the impact I will make supporting both teachers and students, and I am grateful to work under the leadership of Principal Evans.”

McZeal is a former electrical engineer but began teaching mathematics at Lutcher High School in Lutcher, La. She served the St. James Parish Public School System for six more years at St. James High School.

McZeal came to Ascension Parish in 2009 teaching at East Ascension High School. In 2020, McZeal became the TAP Master Teacher at Donaldsonville High School.
