BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD)- Louisiana leaders want the public’s input on details related to a massive infrastructure project that will result in the widening of I-10 in Baton Rouge.

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has extended the deadline to submit comments and questions related to the I-10 BR Open House event that was held Tuesday, March 7.

DOTD says it needs all comments by midnight on Sunday, March 26. Remarks received before the deadline will be included in the event documentation report submitted to DOTD and FHWA.

Officials have also made exhibits from the March 7 I-10 BR Open House available at the project website, i10br.com.

Construction of the I-10 Westbound Flyover Widening, which is projected to reach completion in 2028, will result in four lanes in each direction from the I-10/I-110 split to Acadian Thruway.
