Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD)

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – So we have heard some complaints about cars not stopping at 4-way stops.

This is dangerous for other drivers and crews who are out cleaning up debris after Hurricane Ida.

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development posted this message on their Facebook page:

As crews continue to work to clear debris from the roadways and restore power, please remember that any intersection where the traffic signals have no power should be treated as a 4-way stop.
