BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – Seniors in the area are invited to stop by the Louisiana Leadership Institute on Saturday for COVID-19 drive-thru testing.

The East Baton Rouge Council on Aging, Senator Cleo Fields and the Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) are working together on this event.

COVID-19 drive-thru testing will be available from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.

“We are still committed to protecting both the seniors of this parish as well as our staff from COVID-19. Everyone must do their part in minimizing the transmission of this horrible virus. According to the EBR Council on Aging, “Senior centers will transition from drive-thru meal service to an in-person congregate setting on Monday, January 31.”
