BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – Seniors in the area are invited to stop by the Louisiana Leadership Institute on Saturday for COVID-19 drive-thru testing.
The East Baton Rouge Council on Aging, Senator Cleo Fields and the Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) are working together on this event.
COVID-19 drive-thru testing will be available from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.

“We are still committed to protecting both the seniors of this parish as well as our staff from COVID-19. Everyone must do their part in minimizing the transmission of this horrible virus. The Louisiana Leadership Institute is located at 5763 Hooper Rd.
According to the EBR Council on Aging, “Senior centers will transition from drive-thru meal service to an in-person congregate setting on Monday, January 31.”
