BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – The LSU Police Department was called to the scene of a pedestrian hit on Friday morning.
The call came in around 8 a.m. and officers responded to the intersection of Highland Rd. and South Quad Dr.
Upon arrival, officers determined that a pedestrian was hit and needed to be taken to a local hospital.
The pedestrian was transported with minor injuries, according to emergency responders.
The driver of the vehicle that hit the pedestrian “was cited for reckless operation and failure to yield,” according to LSU.
