BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – According to one source, there are approximately 3.7 million homeschool students in the U.S.

Some of those students are East Baton Rouge (EBR) Parish locals, and the EBR Library is extending a very special invitation to both them and their families.

Families who homeschool are welcome to attend a Tuesday, September 6 presentation entitled, “Homeschool Resources at Your Library,” which will begin at 11a.m. in the Main Library on Goodwood Boulevard.

The program will explain how the library can be a useful tool to homeschool students. Guests will also be provided with the contact information for organizations that offer related services.

The presentation will be sponsored by the library’s Children’s Services and Teen Departments.

Those who wish to attend should register by calling (225) 231-3760 or (225) 231-3770.
