EmployBR Reschedules Job Fair for Head Start Program Positions

East Baton Rouge Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome is announcing the launch of 2019 – 2020 Mayor’s Youth Advisory Council (MYAC). The mission of the MYAC is to serve, represent, and advocate on behalf of the youth in the City-Parish.

Members of the Youth Advisory Council will have access to the leaders in East Baton Rouge Parish and will work actively with them to create their shared vision of a Baton Rouge that values its youth. They will also plan and execute their own service project and assist in the creation of an initiative encouraging culture of college attendance among students throughout the parish.

Every high school in East Baton Rouge Parish may have up to two representatives on the council. The application is open to current high school juniors and seniors and can be found at http://www.myacbr.com/apply/

Deadline to apply is October 11th
