The East Baton Rouge school System is giving parents the option to decide on what type of education model to enlist their children in amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The district presented their academic models with virtual, traditional and hybrid options
for parents to choose from, according to a post on their website.
Spokesperson Taylor Halsey says parents can make that decision at any
time and the district will be there to support them with any concerns.
The options come after the Board of Elementary and Secondary Education voted earlier
this week to approve the minimum guidelines that school districts have to meet before
reopening schools in the fall
amid the pandemic.
