The East Baton Rouge Parish School System will partner with The East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office to distribute four busloads of donated school supplies on Saturday, August 3, 2019, at three different events across the parish.

Through a local media outlet’s annual Stuff the Bus event and the generosity of Baton Rouge residents, students across the parish will have access to over $20,000 worth of newly donated school supplies for the 2019-2020 school year.

“The East Baton Rouge Parish School System would like to sincerely thank the people of this community for donating and supporting our students,” said EBR Schools Superintendent Warren Drake. “There is nothing better than feeling prepared on the first day of school, and thanks to the community and EBRSO our students will be ready.”

All of the supplies collected through the Stuff the Bus event held on July 24, 2019 have been donated to EBRSO to distribute at designated events held on August 3, 2019.
