BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — Essential employees at the East Baton Rouge Council on Aging are set to return to work Monday, and the organization’s drive-thru lunch service is also scheduled to resume Monday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at its senior centers.

EBRCOA’s reopening follows a halt in its operations due to a surge in COVID-19 cases in the area.

Seniors wanting to utilize EBRCOA’s drive-thru lunch center are asked to pick up meals at the senior center closest to their homes, according to an EBRCOA press release.
