EBRSO arrests six people at once on burglary, marijuana possession and possession of stolen firearms

The East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested six people Wednesday morning after receiving reports that people were pulling on vehicle door handles at Torrey Pines Trailer Park on Old Hammond Highway.

Those arrested include 22-year-old Courtney Davis, 19-year-old Kobe Jones, 20-year-old Kejuan Brown, 18-year-old Ray Mitchell, 18-year-old Christopher Burkhalter and an unnamed 16-year-old, who is not pictured, according to EBRSO.

They face four counts of illegal possession of a stolen firearm, one count of marijuana possession and six counts of burglary.

Deputies found five of those arrested inside a vehicle at the trailer park, and upon searching the vehicle, they found eight guns, four of which were reported stolen from other parishes, according to EBRSO.

Deputies also found several ski masks along with laptops and cellphones reported stolen from Assumption Parish and St. Charles Parish.
