EBRSO identifies alleged cigarette thief, need public’s help finding suspect

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – Have you seen this person? If so, the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office would like to hear from you as soon as possible.

EBRSO says it “is looking for a man that went into a Racetrac and Circle K on August 6th, September 8th and September 10th and filled up garbage bags with large quantities of cigarettes.”

That man has been identified as 40-year-old Marcus Earl Green.

Green is facing these charges:

  • Attempted Robbery
  • 2 counts of Felony Theft

Authorities are asking the public to be on the lookout for a black Toyota Camry or Corolla.

EBRSO says that Green has been observed driving a vehicle matching that description at the scene of each theft.
