On Tuesday, March 19, the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office is helping raise money for the families of those who have lost a loved one in the line of duty. In doing so, EBRSO is supporting the Gulf Coast Brotherhood Ride

The mission of the Gulf Coast Brotherhood Ride is spelled out below:

The Gulf Coast Brotherhood Ride holds an annual bike ride to honor brothers and sisters lost in the line of duty. In doing so, the riders raise funds to support the families of our fallen brothers and sisters. The ride consists of Fire, Police, and EMS personnel with a support team. All riders and support team members donate their time and efforts for the cause. Above all, we ride to show the families and departments of our Fallen Heroes that we will NEVER FORGET.

The event is taking place from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Velvet Cactus located at 7655 Old Hammond Hwy.

EBRSO said, a “portion of all sales goes to the Gulf Coast Brotherhood Ride.”
