EmployBR Reschedules Job Fair for Head Start Program Positions

East Baton Rouge Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome, in conjunction with the Division of Human Development & Services’ EmployBR Program, announced Wednesday that the East Baton Rouge Parish Head Start and Early Head Start Programs are hiring qualified applicants for the upcoming school year, which begins for staff on Aug. 12, 2019.

EmployBR is hosting a job fair this Friday, July 19 from 1:00pm until 5:00pm at the Delmont Gardens Library, located at 3351 Lorraine Street. The job fair was previously set for July 12, but had to be rescheduled because of Hurricane Barry.

Applicants attending the job fair should come with copies of their updated resume and be prepared for on-site interviews.

Positions available include Teacher Aide, Teacher Advanced, Family Advocates, Clerical Staff and Cooks.  Individuals interested in any of these positions can complete an online application at www.brla.gov/jobs.

For more information, please contact Nina Hunter, Program Administrator for EmployBR, at 225-358-4579, or Juliette Semien, Program Administrator for Headstart, at 225-358-4504.
