BATON ROUGE, La (BRPROUD) -On Friday, Dec. 17 the Friends of the Baton Rouge Zoo received a $5K grant award from ExxonMobil Pipeline Co. for their continuous efforts to connect people and teach wildlife through the natural world.

The funds will be used for educational outreach programs at the Zoo, according to the release.

ExxonMobil Pipeline Community Engagement Lead Michael Smith, presented the award to Friends of the Baton Rouge Zoo representatives— Randy Haddad, Mike Smith, Joseph Simmons and Phil Frost.
