WEST BATON ROUGE PARISH, La. (BRPROUD) – On Wednesday, LA 1 was the scene of a police chase that ended with the arrest of four individuals.

It all happened around rush hour when a car full of people failed to stop when asked to by the Brusly Police Department.

“While fleeing they were observed throwing out small bags of drugs,” according to the Brusly Police Department.

The vehicle was seen driving recklessly heading north on LA 1.

Eventually, the vehicle did come to a stop.

Three suspects ran from the car on foot and one remained in the vehicle.

Eventually, all four suspects were captured by law enforcement.

Two of the suspects are adults and two are juveniles.

The two adults have been identified as Kentavius Anderson and Michael Carney.

They were transported to the West Baton Rouge Parish Jail.

The juveniles were taken to a facility in Alabama.

The two adults are charged with Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Meth, Unauthorized Entry of a Critical Infrastructure and Aggravated Flight.

The two juveniles are facing the drug charges.

The West Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office and Addis Police Department assisted the Brusly Police Department on this case.
