BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – On Monday, we learned that Nick Tullier is in critical condition.
James Tullier, the father of East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office Deputy Nick Tullier continues to ask for prayers as his son fights through a fever.
Nick’s father provided this update early Tuesday morning:
Update (Tues., May 03):
Still Going Strong
Nick Tullier Strong
PO Box 938
Denham Springs, LA 70727
Lactic acid levels were going up and down some but staying above 5 yesterday (Mon). Blood glucose levels were very high. Was above 300 till they increased the insulin dose. That only brought the glucose level down to 200+. Temp was above 102F in the evening. Ice packs were used till they could give more Tylenol.
One doctor told Mary the abdominal swelling that Nick has now is related to body tissues not releasing liquids like normal.
In closing, Power of Prayer:
Take a few minutes to say a Prayer. Doesn’t take much effort. All will benefit from Praying. Trust In God That God Will Hear You!!!
Please continue to Pray for Members of the Blue Family including Nick; All Warriors of God. Continue to Pray for All First Responders wherever they may be. Pray for Members of Our Military and that they return home safely to their families when their tour is over. Nick needs Prayer for sure…
God Watches. God Listens. God Answers Prayers.
