Hill Top Inn Restaurant

MAUREPAS, La. (BRPROUD) – A well known restaurant about an hour from Baton Rouge is now in full recovery mode after Hurricane Ida.

The Hill Top Inn Restaurant is going to be closed for the foreseeable future after the storm left the family owned restaurant in disarray.

These pictures were accompanied with this message from the restaurant:

We are sorry to say that the restaurant will be CLOSED for a few months due to the damages caused by Hurricane Ida. We are very thankful that our staff and families are safe and material things will be fixed in time. I will try to do better in keeping y’all updated of our progress through FB. Please know that we miss seeing and serving you, we miss each other and we miss cooking! Sending Our love and prayers to all of you!

Reconstruction has already begun and the hope that is the restaurant will reopen in January 2022.

When it does reopen, give their Jumbo Fried Shrimp and Crab Au Gratin a try while celebrating the reopening of the restaurant.

The restaurant opened in 2003 and is located off of Highway 16 on the Diversion Canal.
