NEW ORLEANS, La. (WDSU) —

The father of Saints hall of fame quarterback Bobby Hebert has passed away from COVID-19.

WWL Radio Michael Detillier shared the news Saturday of Bobby Hebert Sr.’s passing.

Lafourche Sheriff’s Office official Brennan Matherne said Bobby Hebert Sr. was diagnosed with COVID-19 Friday.

Bobby Sr. was 81-years-old.
