BATON ROUGE, La (BRPROUD)- Hurricane Ida disaster survivors can receive advice from mitigation Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) at the Home Depot in Denham Springs— on rebuilding their homes and also tips on how to reduce risk of future disaster damages.
Specialist are available from Dec. 27 to 30 from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Home Depot located on 2255 Home Depot Drive.
Disaster survivors can expect to learn about protecting their homes from high winds; water, selecting contractors, purchasing flood insurance, roof repairs and more.

Hazard mitigation outreach specialists offer general rebuilding tips and will not be able to discuss specific details of individual assistance cases, according to FEMA.
