Flood and hurricane insurance up for discussion at Baton Rouge Press Club

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – There are many still trying to get back on their feet after Hurricane Ida.

Some of the questions that come up after a storm have to do with flood and hurricane insurance.

Maybe some of those questions will be answered at the Press Club of Baton Rouge on Monday.

Louisiana Insurance Commissioner, Jim Donelon is scheduled to appear as the guest speaker around noon on September 13.

According to the Press Club of Baton Rouge, “Donelon will discuss insurance issues of interest during hurricane season as well as the new FEMA National Flood Insurance Program Risk Rating 2.0.”

The Press Club meeting is taking place at Drusilla Seafood Restaurant.

Everyone is invited to attend but only members of the press are allowed to ask questions of Jim Donelon.
