BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — People living in Louisiana could soon own signed memorabilia from a championship-winning Tiger. A Baton Rouge sports card shop is hosting a silent auction for a great cause, and participants could walk away with a piece of LSU history.
AJ’s Sports Cards in Baton Rouge is partnering with BRProud’s “Men Wear Pink” campaign to raise money for families battling breast cancer. The money goes directly to the American Cancer Society to help with travel and lodging for people getting treatment.
“Women love being championed in their fight against breast cancer for survivors and for thrivers,” said Katelyn Cockerham, the Senior Development Manager for the American Cancer Society.
The silent auction will be open until Oct. 31 at 6 p.m., and people can bid on several special items:



Additionally, AJ’s Sports Cards will donate 10% of all its Wednesday sales through Oct. to the Men Wear Pink campaign. The shop is located at 3348 Drusilla Ln. STE 11C, Baton Rouge, LA 70809.
AJ’s joins a list of several Baton Rouge businesses partnering with Men Wear Pink. Everbowl will donate 15% of its Oct. 17 sales to the campaign, as will Ichiban on Oct. 11. The Raising Cane’s on Perkins Road will give some of its proceeds from Oct. 25.
