BATON ROUGE, La (WVLA/WGMB)– The East Baton Rouge Parish School Board is facing backlash from community stakeholders.
An ethics complaint was filed Tuesday over the superintendent search. Several organizations claim the selection process for the new superintendent was not transparent.
Right now, there are two out-of-state finalists, both Leslie Brown and Nakia Towns who are being considered. The official naming of a superintendent is expected to be announced on June 18th. That person will replace Warren Drake who is retiring.
