Bond revoked for former BRPD officer facing multiple charges

Update: The East Baton Rouge District Attorney’s office confirms that the bond for former BRPD Jason Acree has been revoked.

GONZALES, La. (BRPROUD) – A former BRPD officer is back in jail again.

34-year-old Jason Acree was arrested for the fourth time and booked into the Ascension Parish Jail early Friday morning.

Acree is facing these charges in Ascension Parish:

  • Illegal Carry of Weapons: Crime or CDS (Felony)
  • Possession of Schedule II CDS
  • Maximum Speed Limit
  • Reckless Operation

Earlier this month, the former BRPD officer was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison as part of an ongoing narcotics corruption probe.

Bond is set at $45,000 for Acree.
