Former fire department chief dies from COVID-19

BATON ROUGE, La (BRPROUD) Pride Fire Department announced yesterday in a Facebook post that former Chief Wesley Tucker died from COVID-19 on Friday, Aug. 13.

Services will be held on on Tuesday, Aug. 17 starting at 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. and on Wednesday, Aug. 18 from 9 p.m. until 10:30 p.m. at Rest Haven Funeral Home. The funeral home’s address is 11817 Jefferson Highway Baton Rouge, La.
